PATEROS — Mark A. Sanborn, 51, of Carlton, suffered head and knee injuries about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday when the car he was driving crashed, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The car left the roadway, then Sanborn overcorrected, causing the car to roll and come to rest on the passenger side, according to a State Patrol report. The accident occurred on Highway 153 about 21 miles north of Pateros. Sanborn was initially treated at the Okanogan-Douglas County Hospital in Brewster but was transferred to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. A spokeswoman there said he was in satisfactory condition this morning.
