Former NCW principal is Administrator of the Year

PORTLAND, Ore. — Gary Carlton, principal of Madras High School in Madras, Ore., was recently named the Oregon Business Education Association 2009 Administrator of the Year during the organization’s annual conference held Oct. 9 in Portland, Ore.
Carlton, a 1968 Omak High School graduate, was chosen for encouraging fellow educators to be involved with professional business associations and supporting their attendance at technology and career education trainings.
He taught and was a coach in Cashmere for 15 years, a principal in Quincy for four years and a principal in Ephrata for 11 years.
