Kelly Dean Ferguson
Saturday, October 31, 2009
Kelly Dean Ferguson, age 52, entered into rest on October 18, 2009, after a short battle with cancer. Kelly was born in Dayton, WA on February 18, 1957, to Beverly J. (Grubb) Frederick and Francis Raymond Ferguson. He was a resident of Otis Orchards, WA since 2004. Kelly graduated from Mt. Rainier High School in Burien, WA in 1975. Over the years, he primarily worked in the wood product industry and cabinetry making. On December 28, 1984, Kelly married Kimberly Ann Kidd. Together, they had three daughters, Autumn, Whitney and Drestyn Ferguson. Kelly was a long-time member of the Central Christian Church in Wenatchee, WA. Kelly was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. A genuine Seahawk fan, you would find him perched in front of the television, locked in on any NFL football game. In his younger years, he was a Golden Gloves boxer, coached by his grandpa, Walt Grubb. In high school, he played baseball and football. Among his hobbies were woodworking, bead working and he also loved to play softball on local Jack and Jill teams.
He is survived by his ex-wife, his children, grandson, Jace, all of Wenatchee; sister, Shelly Harris and niece, Shayla, mother, Beverly Frederick and aunt Sherri and uncle Steve Wagemann, all of Spokane; and many cousins.
A Service to Honor his Memory will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pines Cemetery Mausoleum in the city of Spokane Valley, WA.
