Helen Fairbrook Jones, 91, of Chelan, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009.
She was a former 39-year resident of Wenatchee and had lived in Chelan for the past 11 years. She had been a elementary school remedial reading specialist for the Wenatchee School District.
Survivors include her children, Jeremy Jones of Scottsdale, Ariz., Ken Jones of Washougal, Ruth Jones-Pfingst of Ann Arbor, Mich., Norm Jones of Seattle and Russell Jones of Chelan; her sister, Dorothy Ausink of Seattle; and her brother, John Fairbrook of Yakima.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 19 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wenatchee.Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
