Canadian Tenors in town Oct. 6

WENATCHEE – Fliers and tickets for the next show sponsored by the Wenatchee Community Concert Association featured a misprint that could send subscribers to the concert

2 1/2 weeks too late. The Canadian Tenors will appear at Wenatchee High School Oct. 6, not Oct. 22 as listed on show publications. The incorrect date was also given in an Aug. 27 preview of the concert season in Go! Magazine. Concert association shows are open to seasonal subscribers only. For more information, call 884-6835.

The Icicle Creek Music Center’s 2009-10 Canyon Wren concert series opens with “Happy Anniversaries!” Hear the works of Frederik Chopin, Felix Mendelssohn and Grazyna Bacewicz. The program begins with a pre-concert talk with pianist Oksana Ezhokina at 7 p.m. Future Canyon Wren concerts are planned for Nov. 7, Dec. 13, Jan. 30, Feb. 20 and March 28.
