Red Means Go gets to the top
WENATCHEE — Ellensburg pop ensemble Red Means Go took first place at Saturday’s Hits of the Harvest Battle of the Bands, held at the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee. The group — comprised of Jazmarae Beebe, Skyler Mehal, Janss Woldseth, Tom Noble and Markus Hoyer — advanced to the final round during all-day performances in the Stanley Civic Center plaza, then won the final round of audience voting in the PAC auditorium. The group earns a set of prizes including cash, music gear and free recording-studio time, plus a guaranteed entertainment slot at the 2010 Washington State Apple Blossom Festival.
