EAST WENATCHEE — Jordan Osborn helped the Spokane Dodgers, an Under-18 select club team, reach the finals of the Connie Mack Baseball regional tournament over the weekend.
Osborn, who graduated from Eastmont High School in 2009, pitched and played third base for the Dodgers, who became the fourth Northwest team ever and the first in 30 years to play in the regional title game.
Osborn pitched the final four innings and drove in the go-ahead runs in the regional semifinal, a 4-2 victory over ABDG Conejos (Los Angeles) in 10 innings.
The Dodgers fell to AZ Firebirds of Phoenix in the title game, and fell short of a berth in the Connie Mack World Series this weekend.
Osborn will attend Skagit Valley College this fall and play baseball for the Cardinals.
