Tuesday, December 14, 2010
Gary Hetzel, 56, a resident of Stehekin, WA, went home to be with his beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 22, 2010. He was born October 7, 1954, in Utica, NY. As an avid sportsman, Gary spent many hours hunting and fishing with his close friends and family. Gary loved his life in Stehekin, where he worked as a Maintenance man/Carpenter for the U.S. Department of Interior, North Cascades National Park. Gary will be greatly missed by all, for he lived his life as a true believer in Christ, looking forward to his heavenly home.
Gary is survived by his father, Donald E. Hetzel of Chewelah, WA; sisters, Rhea Day of Deer Park, WA, Diana Hake of Spokane, WA, Aleta Abbott of Skaneateles, NY and Laurie Pittman of Norman, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank all of those folks in Stehekin, who were part of Gary's life.
A Memorial Celebration of Gary's Life will held on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Precht Rose Chapel, in Chelan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
