Anna Mae Ernst (In Memoriam)

Anna Mae Ernst, 90, of Enumclaw, WA, passed away on February 23, 2010, of heart failure. She was born on November 29, 1919, in Los Angeles, CA to William Wagner and Lillian Sharp. She graduated high school in San Diego, CA in 1937. Anna married George H. Ernst on February 28, 1945, in Bremerton, WA. She worked as a bookkeeper and owner of Blue Ribbon Meat Co. in Wenatchee, WA. Anna was a member of the Lady Elks and Eagles. She was talented at ceramics, played organ well, and loved growing begonias, traveling, and dancing. She always looked beautiful.

Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Edward Sharp; daughter, Diana Lee (Walker) Mills; two infant granddaughters; grandson, Victor Walker; brother, Victor Sharp; and daughter-in-law, Dona Ernst. Survivors include her loving sons, Douglas E. Ernst (Mark Hickman), Donald G. Ernst, and William J. Ernst (Jana); sister, Halleine Morrison; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service was held on Friday, February 26, 2010, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Living Court, 2229 Jensen Street, Enumclaw, WA. An online memorial can be seen at www.lewischapel.com
