Richard J. “Jerry” Martin, 82, of East Wenatchee, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at his home.
He was a longtime resident of the Wenatchee Valley. He had worked for the Great Northern Railroad in Wenatchee, was the store manager for Safeway in Leavenworth and Cashmere and owned and operated an orchard in East Wenatchee.
Survivors include his children, Ken Martin of Wenatchee, Laurel Blaisdell of Puyallup and Allan Martin of Olympia; and his sisters, Jean Ann Shamley and Pat Fisher, both of Wenatchee.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee; with the Rev. Clarence “Mick” Marquardt officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Heritage Memorial Chapel in East Wenatchee.
Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel.
