Deputies arrest ‘Most Wanted’ fugitive one day after TV show airs
Monday, January 11, 2010
MANSON — A Redmond fugitive whose case aired on the television show “Washington’s Most Wanted” Friday night was arrested in Manson on Saturday morning by Chelan County Sheriff’s deputies.
The 46-year-old man had threatened to kill a law enforcement officer who had contacted him as part of an investigation, or any other officer who tried to stop him, said Michael Poston, community response supervisor for the Washington State Department of Corrections.
He said the threat occurred in Pierce County, where four Lakewood officers were recently shot to death by a man who had threatened police, which likely elevated concern over the threat.
Chelan County Sheriff’s chief of administration Jerry Moore said the man was cooperative when he was arrested, but initially didn’t respond when Deputy Brian Burnett got out of the unmarked patrol vehicle at about 11 a.m. and commanded him to get to the ground.
The man later told deputies that he was in shock that they had located him so soon after the show aired, Moore said.
He said the man had been living with his uncle on Boetzke Road in Manson since October.
He was wanted by the state Department of Corrections for failing to report to his probation officer and failing to comply with his treatment requirements after his conviction for possessing a controlled substance.
Moore said before the show aired, deputies had information that he may have been living in the area.
They were scoping out the residence when the suspect got out of a vehicle near the home.
The man was booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center for probation violations.
He is being held there until he can be transported back to Pierce County.

So much hate. So little compassion.
This article doesn't say that Mr. Nameless Man had committed any crime except what we used to think of as "free speech." That went away when the constitution was abrogated by our government many decades ago.
Its just this kind of Gestapo-like violence against the people that creates the kind of retaliation they are experiencing on the west side.
Time to cut their bloated budgets.

Just when was threatening to kill someone considered "free speech", Bob? The boob didn't call names or use foul language, he made a specific threat. I seem to recall at least one SCOTUS decision upholding arrests made due to threats against public officials, but I can't remember the details.

Oh, and the article stated : "He was wanted by the state Department of Corrections for failing to report to his probation officer and failing to comply with his treatment requirements after his conviction for possessing a controlled substance."
.
It seems the boob had multiple issues with the criminal justice system.

Typical liberal wanks. When you haven't got any logical way to refute an argument, just start calling names and attacking the other man. So 3rd grade. Pathetic.
