Richard C. Parr, 94, of Manson, died Saturday, Jan. 9. 2010, at Harmony House Care Center in Brewster.

He had lived in Manson for 50 years, He helped build and operate Ryan’s Resort on Wapato Lake and owned and operated an orchard.

Survivors include his wife, Lauretta Parr of Manson; and his daughter, Andrea Jeffries, also of Manson.

A tribute service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Manson United Methodist Church, with Meredith Jeffries officiating. Interment will follow at Fraternal Cemetery in Chelan. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Precht Rose Chapel in Chelan and on Thursday at the church prior to the service.

Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel.
