Aleksey Nikolayevich Ivanenko

Aleksey Nikolayevich Ivanenko, 59, of Malaga, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010.

He was a former resident of East Wenatchee and had lived in Malaga for the past seven years. He had been with the military in Ukraine, retiring after 29 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Galina Ivanenko of Malaga; his children, Art Ivanenko of Quincy and Elvira Ivanenko of Wenatchee; and his sisters, Lena Ivanenko, Neli Ivanenko and Lily Ivanenko, all of Ukraine.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the First Slavic Church, 490 N. June St. in East Wenatchee. Concluding services and interment will follow at Wenatchee City Cemetery. Visitation will be held during the service.

Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
