Floyd R. Holloway, 71, of East Wenatchee, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at his home.
He was a former longtime Rock Island resident, where he started a cherry orchard, and was a 46-year Wenatchee-area resident. He had worked for C&O Nurseries and for the Kenite Corp. (now Celite Corp.), retiring in 1991.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Holloway of East Wenatchee; his daughter, Lisa Jo DeChenne of East Wenatchee; and his brother, Boyd Holloway of Rock Island.
Commemoration services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mountain View Assembly of God, 19 McElmurry Lane in East Wenatchee, Pastor Vern Watterud officiating. Following a reception at the church, graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Chapel, 19 Rock Island Road in East Wenatchee. Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Funeral Chapel.
