Luis B. Castellanos

Luis B. Castellanos, 67, of Quincy, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.

He served in the Mexican military and as a police officer in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. He immigrated to the United States in 1990 and worked as a farm laborer until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Castellanos of Quincy; his children, Carmen Rios, Yolanda Castellanos, Jose Luis Castellanos, Gabriel Castellanos, Gilberto Castellanos, Jaime Castellanos, Ana I. Castellanos, Israel Castellanos and Noemi Castellanos, all of Quincy, Osvaldo Castellanos of Wenatchee and Emma Castellanos of Pasco; his brothers, Ramiro Castellanos and Jose Castellanos, both of Tizapan, Jalisco; and his sister, Maria Castellanos of Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Centro Cristiano Fuente de Vida Nueva, 330 Third Ave. N.E., in Quincy. Concluding services will follow at Quincy Valley Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy.

Arrangements are by Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel.
