Douglas B. ‘Doug’ Cockrum

Douglas B. “Doug” Cockrum, 57, of Monitor, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.
He had lived in Monitor for many years and was a lifelong Wenatchee area resident. He was an owner of C & S Wine and Malt Supply, had been a mechanic for Reichert Nissan, was a salesman for Alpine Motors and Basin Asphalt and was an estimator for Mitchell Trucking and Paving.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Cockrum of Monitor; his sons, Terrill “Brian” Cockrum of Moses Lake and Ian R. Cockrum of Wenatchee; his brother, Ronald E. “Ron” Cockrum of Wenatchee; and his sisters, Jamie Akers of East Wenatchee, Julie E. Biggar of Ritzville and Robin Larimore of Cashmere.
A commemoration service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the west campus of the Wenatchee Valley Praise Center, 435 S. Mission St., with Pastor Sal Dimare officiating.
Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
