Marilyn L. Cotter Thompson

Marilyn L. Cotter Thompson, 76, of East Wenatchee, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010.

She was a former resident of Chelan and had lived in East Wenatchee for the past eight years.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Thompson of East Wenatchee; her children, Dale Cotter of East Wenatchee and Kyle Cotter of Manson; and her stepchildren, Linda K. Butler and Bob Thompson, both of East Wenatchee, and Patty L. Kamrau of Gresham, Ore.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Chelan High School Performing Arts Center. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home in Wenatchee. Interment will be at Fraternal Cemetery in Chelan.

Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home and Precht Rose Chapel in Chelan.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MARILYN, SHE WAS SUCH A SWEET AND FUNNY LADY AND I HAD THE PRIVALIGE TO CARE FOR HER AT WVH AND LOVED HER SPIRIT, SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE AND A WITTY COMEBACK TO EVERYTHING, EVAN IN PAINFULL MOMENTS. AS A CNA I LOVED HER AND WILL MISS HER DEARLY. I AM SO SORRY FOR THE FAMILY AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. ALL MY LOVE KATHY FULLER
