Robert A. ‘Bob’ Brandenburg

Robert A. “Bob” Brandenburg, 72, of Entiat, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Highline Care Center in East Wenatchee.

He was a longtime resident of Central Washington and had lived in Entiat for the past two years. He had been a carpenter, owned the Antlers Tavern in Twisp, was an entrepreneur in Alaska and a long-haul truck driver.

Survivors include his children, Bryan Brandenburg of Palmer, Alaska, Richard Brandenburg of Anchorage, Alaska, and Robin Korte of Vancouver; his stepchildren, Darold Brandenburg and Steve Brandenburg, both of Twisp; his brothers, Joe Brandenburg of Republic and Marvin Brandenburg of North Bend; his sister, Marie Bozarth of Wenatchee; and his longtime companion, Clara Griffin of Entiat.

A commemoration service will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 1 at Heritage Memorial Chapel, 19 Rock Island Road in East Wenatchee, Minister Dale Linge officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Beaver Creek Cemetery in Twisp.

Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel.
