Robert L. Garrison, 87, passed away December 26, 2009, at his home in Boise, ID. Robert was born in Walker, MO to William and Della Garrison. The family moved to Peshastin in 1929, where he attended school, graduating in 1941. In 1944, he entered the military and was a member of the 101st Airborne Division and served in Germany until 1945. After discharge in 1946, he married Irene Fischer. They made their home in Peshastin. Bob and two high school buddies were offered a 40 acre orchard, referred to as BF&G - Bitterman, Flick and Garrison - and he was partnered with them for 13 years. Bob then went to Boise, ID and built a bowling alley, known as Westy's Garden Lanes.

He is survived by his wife, Irene at home; two sons, Norman of McCall, ID and Robert W. of Boise; three grandchildren; a sister, Betty Herndon of Wenatchee; and brother, Don Garrison of Puyallup. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters.

Services were held in Boise, ID on December 30, 2009. Condolences may be sent to 2430 N. Five Mile Road, Boise, ID 83713-5401.
