William G. Joplin, 59, of Gold Bar, WA, died January 11, 2010, in Everett. He was born February 4, 1950, in Seattle, WA, to Earl and Mazie Joplin. He graduated from Meadowdale High School in Edmonds in 1968. He worked for 45 years as a business owner in paving and excavation.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Dewey Ballinger. His surviving family includes his children, Jill Joplin of Leavenworth, Mark (Sarah) Joplin of Marysville and Misti (Mike) Land of Monroe; grandchildren, Tara (Greg) Joplin-Cervin of Marysville, Calvin and Paul Joplin and Jordyn and Jaydee Land. He also leaves behind a great-granddaughter, Reyla Cervin; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on his 60th birthday, Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. at the Sultan Eagles, where he was a member.
