Betty Campbell

Mrs. Carl W. "Betty" Campbell passed away peacefully at her home Monday, June 28, 2010. She was born in Ellensburg, WA to Everett and Bertha Young. Mrs. Campbell has been a resident of Wenatchee, WA since 1954, when she and her husband, Carl, moved here to build Parkside Manor Nursing Home. Since that beginning, that team continued to build their business in the field of senior housing. She had been a lifelong member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She and her husband, Carl, recently celebrated their 68th Wedding Anniversary. Until very recently, she went to work every day as the Executive Director for Campbell Enterprises.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband, Carl; her son, Danny Campbell and wife, Teresa of San Diego and their children, Carolin Campbell of Seattle, Kristopher Campbell and his wife, Kristi of Wenatchee, Alexis Romero of Washington D.C. and Mariel Ocaranza of San Diego; her daughter, Kathy Campbell Ball and her husband, Marc of Wenatchee and their children, Anika Ball of Newport Beach, CA and Katrina Ball Rudometkin and her husband, Nathan of Laguna, CA; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Avery and Keaten Campbell.

There will be a Private Family Committal at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee, overseen by Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home. The family is hosting a drop-in Reception on Saturday, July 3, 2010, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Colonial Vista - Vista II, 625 Okanogan Street in Wenatchee. Because of Mrs. Campbell's devotion to children and Christian education, memorial donations may be made to Cascade Christian Academy's Worthy Student Fund.
