Tourism group holds photo contest
CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Tourism Promotion Group’s fifth annual “My Lake Chelan” photo contest offers cash prizes for the best photos from the lake, with a submission deadline of Sept. 30. Participants can submit up to three images via CD or print to P.O. Box 2450, Chelan, WA 98816, or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Prizes run from $300 for first place to $100 for third. Contestants are encouraged to submit images of a variety of events, activities and scenic views of the lake and surrounding valley.
