Parlie J. Lowe

Parlie passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Cashmere Convalescent Center, with her family by her side, on February 27, 2010. She was born on January 30, 1917, to Henry and Mary Davis in Campbell County, TN. She later moved with her husband, Freeman Lowe, and small children, to Peshastin in 1945, and had lived there ever since. Parlie retired from the Cashmere Convalescent Center after 18 years, as a Nurse's Aide. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She also loved to cook and sew.
Parlie is survived by one daughter, Marie (Herb) Whaley of Cashmere; three sons, Charles (Gale) Lowe of Leavenworth, Ron (Arlene) Lowe and Ray Lowe, all of Peshastin; grandchildren, Brian, Jill, Carol, David, Laurence, Laura, Mike, Mark, Diana and Darren; many beloved great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marie McChesney of Norwood, OH. Parlie was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
A Funeral Service of Commemoration will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at Ward's Funeral Chapel, 303 Pine Street, Leavenworth, WA. Private Family Interment will be held at the Peshastin Cemetery. Ward's Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, is in charge of the arrangements.

Marie, Chuck, Ron and Ray ~
I am sorry for the passing of your Mother. She was a good neighbor to my Mom and Dad for so many years. I remember her as a caring and thoughtful person.
