Bernadette Jeanette “Bernie” Perleberg, 62, of Wenatchee, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She had lived in Wenatchee for 30 years and had worked for 30 years as a family advocate for the federal Head Start program.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Perleberg of Wenatchee; her children, Michael Mills of East Wenatchee and Brian Perleberg of Portland; and her sisters, Priscilla Nelson, Penny Wright, Valerie Martin and Claudette Moeller, all of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Brigette Martinez of Post Falls, Idaho.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.

My dear Bernie. Such a charming woman with a great sense of humor. I was director at Head Start who first hired her and enjoyed her for many years. Bernie will be missed by many......
