Leo H. Schons, Sr., born April 27, 1933, in Leavenworth, WA, passed away January 13, 2010, after an extended illness. Leo and June made their home in Mt. Vernon for the last 14 years and made many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard S. and Grace M. Schons of Wenatchee. He is survived by his wife, Mary June Schons; brother, Leonard S. Schons, Jr. of Wenatchee; son, Leo H. Schons Jr., his wife, Siri and grandson, Andrew J. Schons, all of West Seattle; and daughter, Jennifer L. Lewis, her husband, Rik and grandson, McLaren, all of North Bend.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at 12:00 Noon. Friends and family are welcome.
