Larry Alphonso Anthony I, 49, of Nespelem, WA, died on March 11, 2010 in Grand Coulee, WA. He was born in Baltimore, MD to Alfred and Yvonne Anthony. Larry served in the Army from 1975 to 1979. He also served in the National Guard from 1990 to 1995, and was a member of the American Legion. He received his GED while he was in the Army. He worked as a roofer/laborer while he continued his education. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Anthony of Nespelem; children, Laweasa Anthony and Larry Anthony II, both of Nespelem and Doisi Ann Trevino of Spokane. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Barry A. Anthony; his sister, Cathy Brown; and his father, Alfred Anthony of Chesterfield.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., at the Nespelem Community Center. The Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at the Nespelem Community Center and a dinner will follow at 571 Gold Lake Road, Nespelem. Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
