Lillian A. Hall-White was called home peacefully on May 3, 2010. She lived a full and long life of 90 years. She was born in Heaton, ND on August 25, 1919, to John and Christina Gier. Lillian married a wonderful man, Howard R. Hall from Olympia, WA, in 1941, and together they raised five children. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. Her family grew to have 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, in which she took great pride and joy. Lillian loved to be out in her yard and in nature. She had a definite green thumb and could grow the most beautiful flowers and the largest tomatoes! She loved camping with her kids and grandchildren (even in her late 80's) and was always in charge of building the campfire, of which she was the master! We always knew we would probably have a visit from the ranger or Smoky the Bear! When she was in her 70's, she opened a new chapter in her life and married Robert White of Rock Island, WA. They were great companions until Bob passed away in 2007. Lillian was a very active woman and truly enjoyed life. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. We love you and will miss you always, momma and grandma.

Lillian is survived by her children, Monica Spencer of Bellingham, WA, Donald Hall of Lake Stevens, WA, Donna Dillon of Phoenix, AZ, Sharon Weirich of Dryden and Cathy Townsend of Wenatchee; two sisters, Lenora Collins and Ruby Agnew, both of Olympia; and her beloved grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Valley View Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1201 10th Street N.E., East Wenatchee. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Wenatchee City Cemetery. Please express your thoughts and memories on the online guest book at jonesjonesbetts.com. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee.
