Anthony J. "Tony" Gilsoul, 69, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at his home in Chelan, WA. Tony was born October 20, 1941, in Holler, MN, to Clifford and Evelyn Gilsoul. The family moved to a dairy farm in Somerset, WI, where he graduated from high school and then attended college in River Falls, WI. After serving in Germany with the U.S. Army, Tony moved to Phoenix, AZ, where he met and married Judy Campbell. He established himself as a Plumber and represented the State of Arizona in plumbing competition, winning top honors. In 1977, he moved his family to Twisp, WA. They built a home up the Twisp River, where he began Gilsoul Plumbing. In 1983, Tony and Gilsoul Plumbing moved to Chelan. He loved his family and friends and was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. Some interests he took pleasure in were football, horse shoes, cribbage, hunting, fishing, cutting wood, working in his yard, coffee and a cold drink.
Tony is survived by his two children, Tyson (Krissi) Gilsoul of Chelan and Justin (Jennifer) Gilsoul of Hollister, CA; his brother, Patrick (Elizabeth) Gilsoul of Chelan; and three sisters, Marilyn Gilsoul of White Bear Lake, MN, Evelyn (Jack) Holloway of Sarasota, FL and Kathleen (Robert) Ebbert of Twisp. Tony is also survived by former wife, Judy Berg; and their six grandchildren, Gracie, Sully, Julia, Jacob, Joseph and, very soon, Jackson Gilsoul. He had three nieces and ten nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Evelyn; and a brother, Jerome Gilsoul, all of Chelan.
Tony requested Cremation and, at his direction, a Celebration of his Life will be held at his home for family and friends in the spring.
