Bettie Louise Noss

Bettie Louise Noss, 85, of Wenatchee, WA, died Saturday, November 13, 2010. She was a resident of Wenatchee and East Wenatchee for 76 years. Bettie was born in Tulsa, OK to Roy and Lucille Michener on March 27, 1925. She came to Wenatchee at the age of seven. Bettie graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1944. She attended Wenatchee Valley College and Texas Christian University. On January 19, 1947, Bettie married Leonard Noss. Most of the 64 years together were spent in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. Bettie was a longtime member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church and of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was also a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. During her working life, Bettie was employed at The Wenatchee World, the Craftsman, Inc. and, in 1983, she and her husband became partners in Noss and Associates, a printing and office supply company. She retired in 1990.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Noss of Wenatchee; her sons, David (Sandi) Noss of Wenatchee and Daniel (Susan) Noss of Kennewick; grandchildren, Ami Noss (Scott Burnell) and Rebecca Noss of Seattle, Sarah (Luke) Flohr of Pasco, Kirsten (Scott) Bond of Seattle, WA and Matthew Noss of Prineville, OR; and great-grandchildren, Gage Burnell and Gracey Flohr.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wenatchee. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
