Frank E. Kinscherf

Frank E. Kinscherf, 85, of Wenatchee, WA, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. He was born on March 19, 1925, in Leavenworth, WA, to John and Gertrude (Fox) Kinscherf.He moved to Omak at a young age and graduated from Omak High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War, serving in Europe. He married Anna L. Jewett Ryan on October 7, 1998. Frank was an Office Manager and Salesman for various car dealerships in Wenatchee. He was a musician, playing piano and saxophone, playing at high school dances and for his own enjoyment. He loved fishing, baseball (Mariners) and knew lots about birds. Frank had a large collection of arrow heads and rocks. Frank loved and appreciated the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center, where he was very involved in their events and also very supportive of them.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Kinscherf of Wenatchee; his children, Sandra Brandenburg of Rock Island, Ron Kinscherf of Tacoma, Jan Sloan of Wenatchee and Tom Kinscherf of Denver, CO; his step-children, Rocky Holloway, Tom and Tim Ryan and Shelly Scholessler, all of Wenatchee; one sister, Alice Kellogg of Woodinville; and many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Bernadine Holloway.
Memorial Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010, at Jones & Jones~Betts Memorial Chapel, 302 Ninth Street, Wenatchee, WA. Please express your thoughts and memories on the online guest book at jonesjonesbetts.com. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home.
