Christine S. Coffield was born on November 30, 1917, to Oscar and Ethel (Flarity) Benson in Colburn, CO. She passed away on October 24, 2010, at the age of 92. She was raised on a ranch with many siblings in DeBeque, CO. She graduated from DeBeque High School in 1937. She married Gerald "Gus" Coffield on December 20, 1937, in Glenwood Springs, CO. They lived in Carbondale, CO for the first three years of their married life. They then moved to Clark Fork, ID, where their first child, Donna, was born. In 1942, they moved to Pateros, WA, where their second child, Sandee, was born. In 1956, they moved to East Wenatchee. In 1958, they moved back to Pateros. In 1987, they moved to Brewster. Then, in 2001, they moved to East Wenatchee to be near their daughter. Christine was a Nurse's Aide at Brewster Hospital and in nursing homes around the area. The last of her working years were spent at Customs as a packer. Her hobbies were her family, oil painting, sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in East Wenatchee.

Christine is survived by her husband, Gerald of East Wenatchee; one daughter, Sandee (Jim) Thornton of East Wenatchee; six grandchildren, Heidi (Scott) Weller of Vienna, VA, Mark (Lynn) Henderson of Sherwood, OR, Marshall (Kellie) Henderson of Vancouver, WA, Sean (Stephanie) Thornton of Quincy, Eric (Tina) Thornton and Katrina (Rhett) Morgan, all of East Wenatchee; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, May Tweedy of Casper, WY. Preceding her in death is one daughter, Donna Kay Henderson; her parents, Oscar and Ethel Benson; two brothers and five sisters.

A private service will be held with interment following at Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wenatchee Seventh Day Adventist Dorcas Fund. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
