What will be closed for the Labor Day holiday?

Here’s a list of what’s open and closed for the Labor Day holiday:

Banks: Most banks will be closed Monday.

Buses: Link Transit buses and Grant County Transit buses will not run Monday.

Garbage service: Waste Management of Greater Wenatchee will run regular collection routes Monday.

Government offices: Federal, county and city offices will be closed Monday. State offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Driver and vehicle-licensing offices will be closed today through Monday.

Library: The Wenatchee and East Wenatchee public libraries will be closed Monday.

Liquor stores: Most state liquor stores will be open from 10 or 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. Contract stores may be open.

Medical facilities: Columbia Valley Community Health will be closed Monday.

Museums: The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center will be closed Monday.

Postal Service: No mail delivery Monday.

Schools: Public schools and Wenatchee Valley College will be closed.

Shopping: Wenatchee Valley Mall will be open regular hours Monday. Most stores in downtown Wenatchee and at Valley North Center will be open regular hours Monday.

The Wenatchee World: The offices will be closed, however the circulation department’s phone line will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday.

Wenatchee Valley Humane Society: Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Wenatchee Valley Mall hours were incorrect for this posting. WVM was open from 10am to 6pm on Labor day. These hours are posted on www.wenatcheevalleymall.com and also at the mall entrances. Please visit the web site to stay updated on WVM news.
