CASHMERE — The Cascade softball team is serving notice that it intends to dominate the Caribou Trail League softball season for a third consecutive season.
The Kodiaks received a two-run home run from Laura Hester and went on to post a 10-0 five-inning victory over Cashmere on Tuesday, running their CTL record to 4-0.
Taliyah Riddick-Waters struck out eight batters and allowed just four hits to pick up a complete-game victory.
Halee Ross and Staci Scollard recorded two hits each for the Kodiaks, who haven’t lost a league game since 2008.
Michelle Pinckney had a double for the Bulldogs (1-3 CTL, 4-3 overall).
Omak 10, Chelan 2
Shirlee Ramos pitched a complete-game two-hitter and had three hits to lead Omak (1-3 CTL, 5-4 overall) to a victory over visiting Chelan.
Lyndsey Fox had two hits for the Goats.
Pateros 6, Liberty Bell 0
Katie Richardson struck out 11 batters, walked none and allowed just one hit to lead Pateros to a win over Liberty Bell.
McKenzie Pease had two hits for the Nannies (1-0 NCW North, 3-1 overall).
Cashmere 13, Cascade 2
Cashmere scored 10 runs in the third inning en route to a five-inning victory over visiting Cascade.
Mitchell Darlington hit a double that scored two, and Trenton Johnson had a two-RBI single in the third frame for the Bulldogs, who remained undefeated in Caribou Trail League play (4-0 CTL, 7-1 overall).
Cascade 3, Cashmere 2
Fabian Alvarez, Christian Rivas and Memo Sanchez scored goals to lead Cascade to a CTL victory over host Cashmere.
Harrison Sargent and Jesus Garcia tallied goals for the Bulldogs.
Chelan 8, Omak 2
Eleazar Galvan and Isaac Perez each scored a pair of goals to lead the Goats past the Pioneers.
Chelan led 5-1 at halftime.
Okanogan 4, Tonasket 2
The Bulldogs improved to 2-1 in the CTL, taking a 3-0 lead over the Tigers early in the second half before closing it out.
Ismael Vargas had two goals and Justin Rivas added a goal and an assist for Okanogan.
