EAST WENATCHEE — Chad Holaday has vaulted himself back in the conversation in the Late Models points race.
The veteran area driver claimed the checkered flag in the Late Models main race at the Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval on Saturday night, moving himself into sixth in the season standings with 487 points.
Todd Walters (625 points) holds a slim lead over Terry Halverson (620) in the points race after placing fourth Saturday. Halverson took third, while Josh Roberts took second.
In the Washington Midget Racing Association touring class, Pat Bliss was victorious in both the A and B mains.
In another touring class, Cody Stewart took the win in the Washington Econo Sprint Car Organization main, setting a track record with a lap time of 11.53 seconds in the process.
The first class of the night was the NW Outlaw Street Stocks, with Andy Stibal holding off Kim Wennerberg for the victory.
Five classes will take the track this week, including the NW Outlaw Compacts, Thunder Cars, Pure Stocks, Youth Hornets and Bump 2 Pass.
