The Highway 28/Highway 2/97 intersection in East Wenatchee has reopened, and the detour and the Cascade Avenue roundabout have been removed. There will be occasional nighttime lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic over the next two weeks.
From 8 a.m. to midnight, June 11, Manfield’s Play Days will detour traffic off Highway 172 through town for a parade, car show and street dance.
Sen. George Sellar Bridge
The speed limit is 35 mph with narrowed lanes.
The bridge remains closed to pedestrians. Monday through Saturday, free Link bus service is provided across the bridge on trolley route 19 and bus routes 23 and 25.
Westbound, catch the bus at the Wenatchee Valley Mall or Fred Meyer.
Eastbound, catch the bus on South Wenatchee Avenue at Checkers Drive-In or on Mission Street at La Fuente restaurant.
Illumination system work, Highway 2/97, Euclid Interchange
Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., one of four lanes on Highway 2/97 will be closed and short delays with single-lane, flagger-controlled traffic on Highway 97A.
Road work, Highway 971, Chelan
Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., short delays with flagger-controlled traffic.
Fiber cable work, Highway 2, Dryden
5 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, there will be a rolling slowdown, led by law enforcement vehicles near the Dryden Transfer station.
Road work, Highway 97, Blewett Pass
Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., flagger-controlled traffic and 20-minute delays.
Road work, Highway 28/Highway 2/97 to 9th St., East Wenatchee
8:30 a.m. Monday through 6 p.m. Thursday, Fancher Field Boulevard will be closed (the Fancher Heights second access road).
