EAST WENATCHEE — After qualifying third and placing second in the first trophy dash, Alex Kerslake claimed the checkered flag in the Big 5 Late Models main at the Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval on Saturday night.
Terry Halverson was second and Michael Knutson was third in the main, which was the second race of the year for the division at the Oval. Knutson, who finished eighth in the Late Models season debut on April 30, jumped into the points lead with 302 points.
In other action at the Super Oval on Saturday, Garrett Sisk won the NW Legends main, Mike Wiley took the NW Pro4 Trucks main, and Pat Bliss won the WMRA Midgets main.
The Super Oval continues racing next Saturday with the Northwest Modifieds, Outlaw Street Stocks, Pro 4 Alliance and Thunder Cars classes.
