WENATCHEE — Master sculptor Richard S. Beyer, whose art touched the hearts, minds and funny-bones of thousands of North Central Washington residents, died Monday in New York City. He was 86. The creator of wry works who displayed a genius for joyful subjects — including dancing, singing people and animals with human expressions — delighted NCW art lovers and non-lovers alike for nearly two generations.
