PESHASTIN
The Peshastin Community Council is looking to fill two positions by its Nov. 5 meeting. Petitions declaring candidacy must be submitted by the Oct. 1 council meeting in the Peshastin American Legion Hall.
Members of the seven-person community council serve as volunteers, acting as a communication link between the community and Chelan County government, and help organize local activities and events.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and be residents of the Peshastin area. Petetitions can be submitted by mail to the Peshastin Community Council, P.O. Box 711, Peshastin, Wa. 98847, or in person. For more information, call Steve Keene, council chairman, at 548-0829.
