Erma Fay Agens, 79, a resident of Wenatchee, WA for over 60 years, left to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday morning, November 26, 2012, at Central Washington Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born on January 23, 1933, at Melbourne, AR to the late Mitch and Pearl (Clark) Collier. She was raised and received her schooling in Melbourne. She moved with her family to Wenatchee in the early 1950's. She worked as a waitress at Vic's Drive In for many years and later, as a waitress and barmaid on the Avenue. She met Leo Agens while attending church, and they were later married in Wenatchee on February 14, 1985. They have continued to make their home in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. She was a former longtime member of the East Wenatchee Church of Christ. She enjoyed her family, going to the car races, country music and helping people. Her capacity for Love and Caring for others was huge.
She is survived by her husband, Leo Agens of Wenatchee; children, Brenda (Dan) Delaney of Wenatchee and Barney (Barbara) Ballard of Russellville, AR; step-daughters, Julie Kuntz of Wenatchee, Debbie (Bruce) Gregg of Quincy, Joan Sims of Wenatchee and Kristen DeCoteau of East Wenatchee; sister, Ovela "Pat" Badler of Perryville, AR; eight grandchildren, Jason Walker of East Wenatchee, Cole Walker of Wenatchee, Chris Cox of Wenatchee, David Delaney of Nevada, Samantha Ballard of Arkansas, Thomas Ballard of Arkansas, Ericka Ballard of Arkansas and Christy Ballard of Arkansas; 11 step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Hoyt Collier, Lloyd Collier, Ernest Collier and Ovel Collier; two sisters, Lois Rose and Audell Jeffery; two sons, Steve Walker and Timothy "Tim" Walker; and granddaughter, Jeanette Delaney-Davis.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, December 3, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Chapel, 19 Rock Island Road, East Wenatchee. In lieu of other tributes, memorials may be made in her name to: Spinal Cord Injury Association of Washington, www.sciaw.org.
