Marine Corps issues call for Toys for Tots donations

NCW — The Wenatchee Detachment 806 of the Marine Corps League is collecting new toys for toddlers and children up to age 12 to give to needy families this Christmas.
Donors may drop off dolls, educational toys, Transformers, Legos, crayons, coloring books and sports equipment by Dec. 21. Donations should be new, in the original packaging and unwrapped.

Wenatchee: Grocery Outlet; Hooked on Toys; Lifeline Ambulance, 501 N. Wenatchee Ave.; Chelan County PUD; Wenatchee Public Library; Global Car Care, 1840 N. Wenatchee Ave.; Walgreens; Sticks House of Cigars, 527 Piere St. Suite A.
East Wenatchee: Willie’s Sports Bar; Kegler’s Casino; Bi-Mart; Douglas County Fire District 2, 377 Eastmont Ave.; Douglas County PUD; LocalTel Communications, 341 Grant Road; Edward Jones Investments, 107 Eastmont Ave.; Ross department store; Walgreens; Marine Corps Recruiting Office, 230 Grant Road.
Needy families can make an appointment to receive toys by calling 888-2167 in English or 881-1336 in Spanish from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until Dec. 19.
