Bertha Lee ‘Bea’ Parkins

Bertha Lee “Bea” Parkins, 84, of Wenatchee, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012.

She had been a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident and had been a juvenile detention officer for Chelan County Juvenile Center, retiring in 1995.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy Hooley of Spokane, Woody Parkins of Houston, Carl Parkins and Don Parkins, both of Wenatchee, Russ Parkins of East Wenatchee, Dave Parkins of Medical Lake and Bruce Parkins of Monitor; her two brothers; and her four sisters.

A celebration of life service will be held at the beginning of the year.

Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee.
