EVERETT — A Monroe prison inmate was sentenced Wednesday in Everett to another 24 years in prison for trying to kill another inmate in 2009 in a prison laundry room.
The 26-year-old Daniel Perez will begin the new sentence after he’s completed a 30-year murder sentence for strangling a cell mate in 2006.
The Daily Herald reports he was convicted in October of attempted murder for the 2009 attack.
