Police: tire slashers hit as many as 160 WA cars

Friday, December 7, 2012

MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) — Many Marysville, Wash., residents woke up Friday morning to find the tires on their cars slashed.

Police say as many as 160 vehicles were vandalized overnight.

The Daily Herald says Tom Miller was among those hit hardest. He says 11 of the 12 tires on his family's three cars were slashed. He spent Friday morning buying new tires for two of the cars.

Police are asking people with security cameras in the area to review the video and help them identify suspects.
