Union acquire former Drexel defender Parke

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Union acquired former Drexel defender Jeff Parke from the Seattle Sounders on Friday for allocation money and a 2013 first-round pick in the supplemental draft.
The 30-year-old Parke has two goals and five assists in 210 games in eight MLS seasons with New York and Seattle. He grew up in the Philadelphia area.
