Snowman vs. triceratops, it's a standoff

Friday, December 28, 2012

photo

A snowman, armed with a sword and shield, challenges the triceratops that lives next to La Plaza Wenatchee grocery store at 908 S. Wenatchee Ave. According to manager and co-owner Robert Dearie, kids made the snowman on Christmas Eve and then took photos and video of the duo.

I got the following email from Becci Piepel, regarding the snowman- providing the back story to the dueling duo:

This snowman was actually made on December 22nd by Chris Piepel, Becci Piepel, Samantha Sinko, & Ryan Cox. The P on the front of the shield is for Piepel and the letters on the back of the shield are our initials.

My husband drives by there constantly & thought this would be a great place to build a Warrier Snowman! He built the sword & the shield...

Just wanted you to know the rest of the story.

Becci Piepel
