Success for S.P.O.R.T.
Wednesday, February 15, 2012
WENATCHEE — The S.P.O.R.T. Gymnastics level 4 team of Sierra Hartley, Emily Brault, Celia Sinerius and Sophia Dillon took third place at the Bumpershoot Invitational in Tacoma last weekend.
Hartley was second in the all-around standings and second on the beam. Brault was first on the uneven bars, the beam and on the floor exercise, but a tough vault rotation hurt her in the all-around standings.
This same level 4 team won at Flip Fest in Spokane on Jan. 21 and 22.
Julia Williams, the club’s only level 9 gymnast, finished fourth in the all-around at both competititions.
