Jeffrey Lynn McClellan

Jeffrey Lynn McClellan, youngest son of Sandra and Jim McClellan, Sr., died Saturday, January 7, 2012, at University Hospital, Seattle, after a brief illness. He was born October 26, 1965, in Manson and lived most of his life there, with the exception of five years in East Wenatchee. He graduated from Manson High School in 1984. His work experience of cooking in various restaurants in the Valley gave him the reputation of being the best breakfast cook in Manson. He shared his culinary skills at MacAbees, Katzenjammers, Whaleys, The Inn & Out, Uncle Tim's, The Hole in the Wall and for the past two years at Heritage Heights. He very much enjoyed working with the residents of Heritage Heights, and they appreciated his kindness and courtesy, as well as his good meals. Jeff's hobbies included arrowhead hunting, hanging out with friends, music and model building. He was extremely helpful to his mother and grandpa Hub, setting up and trouble shooting their AV equipment and providing CD's of their favorite music.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James McClellan, Sr.; grandfather, Clarence and grandmother, Opal McClellan; grandmother, Aliene and step-grandfather, Hap Haynes; step-grandmother, Frances Hubbard; and uncle, Coy Tackitt. He is survived by his mother, Sandra McClellan; grandfather, Elbert Hubbard, Sr.; brothers, Jerry and Jim and sister-in-law, Donnitia McClellan; nephews, Mark Elliott, Curtis and Kelly McClellan; nieces, Zoe and Haley McClellan; aunt, Bette Tackitt; uncles, Rex (Dolly), Tom and Larry McClellan; uncles, Elbert (Hannah), Gary (Meleta), Duane (Karon) and Jon Hubbard; and numerous cousins.
His quiet and gentle presence will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 12, 2012, from Noon to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, January 13, 2012, from Noon to 7:00 p.m., both at Precht Rose Chapel in Chelan. A Memorial Service will be held at North Shore Bible Church in Manson, on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., with Private Interment at Riverview Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
