...WINTER STORM FOR MUCH OF THE REGION POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEK... .A LONG PERIOD OF LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL ADD UP TO POSSIBLE MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER A 24 TO 36 HOUR PERIOD. ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL BEGIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON IN THE CASCADES AND BEGINNING THURSDAY EVENING OVER THE REST OF THE REGION. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF OVER MOST AREAS BY LATE FRIDAY...SNOW SHOWERS

Harold J. Jones

East Wenatchee, WA

Harold J. Jones, age 81, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012, following a short illness. He was born in Yellville, AR to Ernest and Clara Maxey Jones on March 29, 1930. He moved to Washington State in 1942, and had lived the past 45 years in East Wenatchee. He was a member of the Wenatchee Valley Antique Auto Club, Attic Duster’s, and Polio Outreach of Wenatchee.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, of the home; daughters, Pamela (Robert) Styles of Monroe and Yvonne (Barry) Peterson of Wenatchee; and sisters, Ruby Trimble and Guila Johnson, both of California and Georgia Franklin of Puyallup, WA.

At his request, Private Memorial Services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, or a charity of choice, in memory of Harold. Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee, WA.
