Pet of the week: Ride along with Ritchie
Wednesday, July 4, 2012
Ritchie is smart, funny and looking for a forever friend.
He’s a 5 1/2-year-old Lhasa Apso and weighs between 15 and 18 pounds. Ritchie loves to play and is a very energetic and self-assured fellow. He knows some basic commands and rides well in cars and walks OK on a leash.
Ritchie tolerates other dogs and cats but would do best in a home without young children. He is neutered, up to date with routine shots and is mostly house trained from having been kept indoors. His adoption fee is $150.
You can find him at the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. The standard adoption fee is $100 for dogs and $65 for cats.
The Humane Society, 1474 S. Wenatchee Ave., is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. It is also open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, visit wenatcheehumane.org or call 662-9577.
