LONGVIEW — The Cowlitz Black Bears got the clutch hit that the Wenatchee AppleSox couldn’t find on Saturday night. Brian Carroll got his bat to a pitch from Wenatchee reliever Drew Jacobs with two outs in the top of the eighth, poking it to right field to score Austin Wobrock as the Black Bears edged the Sox 2-1.
